Achanté Davis is a New Orleans–born, North Texas–raised multidisciplinary artist and educator working across digital design, painting, textiles, and wire work. Her practice centers accessible, mixed-media art and sustainable use of materials, creating work that is meant to be lived with, used, and returned to over time.

Achanté‘s experience as a full-time educator, creative workshop host, and artist inspired her “SIDE QUEST SYSTEM”, a project management framework meant to reduce overwhelm and burnout for creatives that do more than one thing. While the system is still in its early stages as simple digital tools, the mission and the vision are clear. She believes that creatives should not have to choose between their passions and their survival and aims for all areas of her work to reflect that philosophy.

When Achanté is not working on her various crafts, she can be found reading, experimenting with new latte recipes, or exploring through art and travel.
